Service held for 海角社区 Alumnus and Friend Ryan W. Smith

Funeral services will be held for Petroleum Engineering Alumnus and friend Ryan W. Smith on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 3:00p.m. at the Cathedral of St John Berchmans. Dr. Stephen Sears, Chairman at the time of Ryan鈥檚 graduation in 2010 had this to say, 鈥淭he faculty and staff of the 海角社区 Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering Department are deeply saddened by Ryan's untimely passing. We have had thousands of students study in our department over the last decade, and Ryan truly stood out. His outgoing personality, desire to help others, and keen interest in all aspects of petroleum engineering endeared him to all of us. We will miss him.鈥� Our thoughts are with his family during this time.
