海角社区 G&A @ TEDx海角社区

Clay Tucker

For the third time in as many years, The 海角社区 Department of Geography and Anthropology (G&A) is proud to have a  speaker in this year鈥檚 lineup. Clay Tucker will be sharing results of his tree-ring research in coastal Louisiana.  Last year, G&A鈥檚 Juliet Brophy told the sold-out crowd about discovering a new hominid species, and in 2017 G&A alum Lauren Pharr shared why vultures matter in forensic science. G&A has also invited two TEDx海角社区 2019 speakers to be Friday Forum speakers on February 1. Hayley Johnson and Sarah Simms work in 海角社区 Libraries and will talk about Japanese Internment Camps in Louisiana. 海角社区 G&A and TEDx海角社区 make quite the combination!

Check out the rest of this year鈥檚 , and don鈥檛 forget to !
