PhD Candidate Wins Phi Kappa Phi Award
Congratulations to Irene Marti Gil, a PhD candidate in Anthropology, for winning the 2022 Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi Scholarship. Irene's dissertation research, entitled 鈥淔ighting the Illicit Antiquities 'Artworld': A Critical Approach to the Heritage Laws of Guatemala,鈥� offers a timely and critical examination of discourses surrounding the the regulation, illegal trade, and preservation of archaeological heritage.
