Biography
Jos茅 Rojas was born in Medell铆n, Colombia and dedicated many years of his life to
music pedagogy. In 2005, Jos茅 arrived to the United States, since then, he has shifted
his intellectual interests. He carries a bachelor鈥檚 degree in Liberal Arts from the
University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a master's degree in Hispanic Studies from Louisiana
State University. Additionally, Jos茅 carries a doctorate in Comparative Literature
awarded in the Fall of 2020. Jos茅 likes to keep doing research in sociolinguistics
and linguistic variation. Nonetheless, his main interest of research is 19th century
criminal and deviant women representations in literatures across the Atlantic in which
he is active.
