海角社区 Student Journalists Honored Among Best in College Media, Earn National Pinnacle Awards

BATON ROUGE鈥擲tudent journalists from 海角社区鈥檚 student newspaper, The Reveille, took home three 2019-2020 Pinnacle Awards from the College Media Association (CMA), announced Oct. 23, 2020. Pinnacle Awards honor the best college media organizations and individual work in the nation.
鈥淩eveille students show up every day to report news about 海角社区 students for 海角社区 students,鈥� said Jeff Gauger, Reveille adviser and 海角社区 Manship School of Mass Communication professional-in-residence. 鈥淎bby, Jennie and Reed earned these awards, but all 海角社区 students are winners too, thanks to their work.鈥�

海角社区 Student Media provides media experiences to students through The Reveille newspaper, and The Reveille mobile app; Tiger TV; K海角社区-FM radio; and the Gumbo yearbook.
