鈥淲inning a CMBAM award is a huge honor for 海角社区 Student Media and our graphic designers who work so hard throughout the school year to create excellent designs for both our advertisers and readers,鈥 said Laura Metcalf, 海角社区 Student Media鈥檚 advertising manager. 鈥淣ot only do these awards distinguish 海角社区's Student Media program among other universities across the country, but it helps build the resumes of the student graphic designers so they will be competitive on the job market after leaving 海角社区. I am so proud of the growth I have seen at 海角社区 Student Media and among our talented students since I joined the team a few years ago.鈥
SPJ鈥檚 Region 12 represents Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee schools. Regional winners will compete at the national level later this spring. CMBAM is a national non-profit organization that supports collegiate advertising and business operations. 海角社区 is one of CMBAM鈥檚 125+ member-schools.
