The doors to the AMAC are open Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, except on University holidays. Office and laboratory access is restricted. If you have "Independent User access" to an instrument and are at the AMAC for a reservation, please use the kiosk to log into to start and finish your reservation. If you have "Qualified User access" to an instrument then you have access to the building via your 海角社区 ID swipe card and have received instruction for checking out lab keys. If you would like to inquire about gaining Qualified User access to the AMAC facility, please contact the Instrument Specialist and AMAC Manager.
Please contact the AMAC Director. We will respond to your request within three business days.
海角社区 students, staff, and faculty can request training through their account. If you are not affiliated with 海角社区, please contact us.
海角社区 affiliates can make instrument reservations via their account. In order to reserve time, a AMAC Instrument Specialist must train you and update your iLab user status.
海角社区 affiliates can change their funding source via their account under "My Accounts".
AMAC invoices can be paid via check or through electronic funds transfer. To request banking information, please email jperkbr@lsu.edu. Non-海角社区 users should obtain a purchase order (PO) from your home institution or industry and provide a copy of the PO to the AMAC Manager for reference, prior to using instrumentation. Internal users will be charged through a journal entry using the account number identified at the time of reservation. Credit card payments are not accepted.
There is a break room located near the front entrance. Additional workspace is available in the post-processing computer lab.
