Your Tutoring Sessions
Preparing
- Do as much work as you can before the session.
- Determine specific questions you would like to discuss with the tutor.
- Bring course materials and notes.
Scheduling
- Tutoring is only offered for the courses listed below.
- Small-group (up to 3 students) and individual tutoring is offered in 60 min blocks.
- Walk-ins also accepted if tutor availability allows.
Policies
Cancellation Policy:
- Self-cancel by logging into TutorTrac & look under upcoming appointments or
- Call the Shell Tutorial Center front desk (225-578-6757)
No-Show Policy
- After 3 no-shows during one semester, you will no longer be able to schedule in TutorTrac.
- Scheduling an appointment after 3 no shows is addressed on a case-by-case basis. Email gheath@lsu.edu for assistance.

Online tutoring is available through . Tutor availability varies, so please refer to the NetTutor website for schedules. Students begin with 900 free minutes. If additional minutes are needed, please email gheath@lsu.edu.
