Students with Intellectual Disabilities to Benefit from Collaborative Federal Grant Award

BATON ROUGE, LA 鈥 Add an Integrative Community Studies (ICS) program partnership to the growing list of 海角社区 teams that win for Louisiana and the world. For the second year in a row, ICS program faculty and staff have won an influential federal grant competition award. The latest funding - $2.2 million over 5 years 鈥 comes from the U.S. Department of Education鈥檚 Model Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary Programs for Students with Intellectual Disabilities (TPSID).

海角社区 CSE Professor Receives NIMH Grant for ADHD Research

海角社区 Division of Computer Science and Engineering Associate Professor David Shepherd was recently awarded $675,000 from the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) for his research on attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The overall grant is for $1.8 million for three years in collaboration with Rutgers University Chief Wellness Officer and Department of Clinical Psychology Professor Joshua Langberg.
