A New Era for Ogden
The Ogden Honors College has transformed its curriculum. Students will now be able to choose structured, intentional pathways to graduation, ensuring they gain interdisciplinary knowledge, research experience, and the essential leadership skills for professional and academic achievement. The new curriculum reinforces the college鈥檚 commitment to developing well-rounded, high-achieving graduates. The change also puts the Ogden Honors College in a select group of honors programs nationally.
For those who seek an immersive honors experience, Honors Traditions in Critical Thought and Scholarship (TRACTS) BA provides an interdisciplinary degree rooted in the humanities and the sciences. TRACTS fosters ethical reasoning, research-based inquiry, and effective communication, while preparing students for leadership roles in business, industry, and public service.
Students desiring a more flexible honors experience can pursue an Honors Minor, Honors Research Minor, LASAL (Louisiana Service and Leadership) Minor, or LASAL Research Minor鈥攅ach pathway designed to complement any major at 海角社区 while fostering interdisciplinary problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative collaboration.

海角社区 is proud to announce that five outstanding Ogden Honors students and recent graduates have been recognized by the Fulbright U.S. Student Program for the 2025-2026 academic year. These Tigers will represent the United States as cultural ambassadors, promoting mutual understanding and international collaboration through research, graduate study, and English teaching.
