That being said, it is crucial that we put funding in place now so that we can continue to bring visiting writers to campus and to build the literary community that our students and the greater Baton Rouge community deserve. The MFA in Creative Writing Program Enhancement Fund was established to fund events, speakers, and programs. Guest writers bring the world to our doorstep and open creative horizons, generating excitement and, electrifying the learning process.
