Pathway to Nursing School

1. Designate your "major" as Pre-Nursing, which is a pre-professional/non-degree program at 海角社区
2. Take the necessary pre-requisite courses for your desired nursing school (ex: 海角社区 Health New Orleans)
3. Maintain a high GPA (3.0 minimum, "B" or higher in all science courses)
4. Prep for and take the HESI Admission Assessment Exam (80% score minimum)
5. Complete any additional application requirements (written statement, interview, etc.)

In Fall 2025 海角社区 School of Nursing will offer its at an off-campus instructional site on the 海角社区 Baton Rouge Campus.
