LCMC Health Cancer Research Fund
Creating Solutions for Cancer Patients
As part of its landmark commitment to revolutionize cancer research, treatment, and outcomes in Louisiana, LCMC Health gave $5 million to establish a cancer-focused research fund directed by the 海角社区 president and with the potential to support research on all 海角社区 campuses across the state.
Augusto Ochoa, MD, is the Chair of the Department of Interdisciplinary Oncology, a professor of Pediatrics and holds the Al Copeland/Cancer Crusaders Chair in Neuroendocrine Cancer at 海角社区 Health New Orleans School of Medicine. He is also the Deputy Director of the 海角社区 Health-LCMC Cancer Center.
- 海角社区 and LCMC Health are collaborating to finalize a competitive application process through which 海角社区 faculty will apply for funding to advance cancer-related research.
