º£½ÇÉçÇø has initiated several projects designed to help build resiliency in areas that have been hit hard by storms and climate change, including Lake Charles, where º£½ÇÉçÇø President William F. Tate IV is meeting with elected officials, local leaders, and º£½ÇÉçÇø experts on Day 3 of his Scholarship First bus tour.

In one such initiative, 45 º£½ÇÉçÇø architecture, landscape architecture, and civil engineering students recently visited Lake Charles for an intensive, hands-on workshop to design concepts to help improve hurricane resiliency.

Best practices enacted in º£½ÇÉçÇø’s home state are critical and transferable to global communities facing similar challenges.
