Louisiana 4-H Connects with Youth in Innovative Ways

As COVID-19 closed schools and summer camps, the 海角社区 AgCenter Louisiana 4-H Youth and Development program had to quickly adapt to connect with kids in their current schoolhouses鈥攖heir homes. By translating a wealth of content into daily activities in the form of virtual recess and two months of virtual summer camp, 4-H agents in all 64 Louisiana parishes are keeping families active, learning, and entertained. From gardening, sewing, and cooking challenges to photography competitions, how to build a toothpick bridge, or do an experiment to check if your teeth are clean鈥攁nd much more鈥攖he largest youth organization in Louisiana continues to thrive.
