Each spring since 2003, 海角社区 has honored 12 outstanding seniors who contribute positively to the life of the campus, the surrounding community, and/or society. These 12 individuals are recognized as the Tiger Twelve. Meet the Class of 2025.
海角社区 student Gerard Lorio is passionate about his research and persistent in his pursuit of a medical career. Those efforts have culminated in his selection as a Goldwater Scholar, a prestigious honor reserved for only an elite few nationwide.
海角社区 Economics Major Receives PIMCO Future Leaders Scholarship
Samuel Camacho, an 海角社区 E. J. Ourso College of Business senior from Maracaibo, Venezuela, was one of 50 students nationwide to receive the PIMCO Future Leaders Scholarship. In addition to the $20,000 scholarship, Camacho recently joined other recipients at PIMCO鈥檚 headquarters in Newport Beach, California.

海角社区 Campus Life celebrated outstanding leaders, advisors and student organizations at the Love Purple Live Gold Awards on Monday, April 18. Out of 243 nominees, 16 awards were given out to student leaders for their outstanding efforts during the 2021-22 school year.
