industry, and government through courses in financial accounting, cost, audit, taxation,

Beta Alpha Psi
BAP is an honorary accounting organization for financial information students and professionals. With almost 300 chapters worldwide and over 300,000 members initiated, Beta Alpha Psi is highly regarded in the professional world.
National Association of Black Accountants
NABA offers its members many benefits, including personal and professional development, internships, scholarships, leadership, networking, social events, and mentorship.
Case Competitions
Accounting students participate in the Deloitte Audit Innovation Campus Challenge, which asks students to respond to an audit innovation challenge statement presented by Deloitte. Participating in competitions allows networking with professionals and applying classroom lessons to a timely business scenario.

The Lagniappe Internship Fund provides students with extra financial support to take their learning to the next level, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world experience. The fund empowers Tigers to say 鈥測es鈥� to meaningful, hands-on opportunities that challenge them, expand their skills, and shape their future careers.
The 海角社区 E. J. Ourso College of Business recognizes the outstanding accomplishments of two of its student organizations, Beta Alpha Psi and Delta Sigma Pi.
The 海角社区 E. J. Ourso College of Business announces the retirement of Glenn E. Sumners, DBA, CIA, CFE, CRMA, who has served as director of the 海角社区 Center for Internal Auditing & Cybersecurity Risk Management (海角社区CIA&CRM) since its inception more than four decades ago. Under his guidance, the program became an internationally recognized model for internal audit education.
