To secure your place at 海角社区 and successfully transition to campus, please complete the checklist of items below, and let your Admissions Counselor know if you have any questions.

ADMITTED FRESHMAN CHECKLIST

Click each checklist item below to view more information and how to complete each step. All items must be completed prior to classes beginning for your entry term.

This checklist is for students beginning their enrollment 海角社区 in the Fall or Summer semesters. Admitted students entering 海角社区 in the Spring semester will have to complete the same items on a different timeline, which will be communicated via email.

COMPLETE AFTER ADMISSION:

To apply for federal financial aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon after October 1 as possible. You鈥檒l need to enter 海角社区鈥檚 school code (002010) on the FAFSA.

In order for 海角社区 to fully evaluate your comprehensive financial aid and scholarship package, you should submit the FAFSA as soon as possible.

Once you have made 海角社区 your choice, accept your offer of admission, and submit your non-refundable required enrollment deposit in your to save your spot in next year's historic incoming class.

The enrollment deposit must be submitted before you can complete any checklist item below.

Next Step: Create your My海角社区 Account

My海角社区 is a personalized online resource center for all deposited 海角社区 students. For incoming students, you will use your my海角社区 credentials to complete enrollment requirements, including housing, immunizations, and more.

The next step in the enrollment process is to activate your My海角社区 account. However, because there is currently no action for you to complete in My海角社区 at this time, incoming student accounts have not been created yet.

You will be notified via email and your admissions portal when your My海角社区 account is ready for you to activate. No further action is needed from you at this time.

You will be able to activate your account in plenty of time before the housing portal opens in early December.

DECEMBER - MAY

Beginning the first week of December, deposited students will gain access to the Housing Portal within 48 business hours after activating their My海角社区 account. 

You do not indicate a roommate or select your specific residence hall on the housing agreement. However, the housing agreement determines your priority for Room Selection, which occurs in May or June.

You must submit either the Housing Agreement OR the Housing Exemption to enroll at 海角社区.

**You must use your My海角社区 username and password to access the Housing Portal. See Step 3 if you did not activate

Bengal Bound Orientation is required for all incoming students in order to receive a course schedule for the Fall semester.

Registration opens in the spring and will be available in your 海角社区 Admissions Portal.

**To ensure your course schedule can be created accurately, you must submit all verified test scores, including ACT, SAT, AP, CLEP, and IB after registering for Bengal Bound. (See Next Step)

If you completed any Dual Enrollment courses, you must also provide official or unofficial transcripts from the college/university that administered the credit.

Submit verified score reports for all standardized tests. This includes ACT, AP, CLEP, IB, and SAT. These can be sent by your high school counselor, ACT, or College Board.

You may also send score reports via email to admissions@lsu.edu. These can be screenshots of your score report from your ACT or College Board portal. Ensure your name, test date, and scores are all visible. We recommend using a screenshot from a desktop, laptop, or tablet.

MAY - AUGUST

Submit final official transcripts from all schools attended. This includes your final high school transcript, dual enrollment transcripts, military transcripts and vocational or technical school transcripts.

Final High School Transcripts must have a high school graduation date on the transcript.

Dual Enrollment transcripts must be sent to 海角社区 by the college/university that administered the credit. Students should visit that school's Registrar's Office web page to request the transcript be sent to 海角社区 UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS.

Credit will not be awarded from transcripts sent by the individual student.

Louisiana law requires immunization against measles, mumps, rubella, and tetanus-diphtheria. 海角社区 also requires a completed tuberculosis questionnaire for all first-time 海角社区 students. If you do not wish to complete the immunization requirement for any reason, you may complete the Immunization Exemption Form.

Louisiana Residents: 海角社区 automatically receives immunization information for in-state students. In addition to having up-to-date immunization records, you must also submit the TB questionnaire to complete the requirements. You may complete this form, as well as check your immunization compliance status via the .

Non-Louisiana Residents: You must submit the Proof of Immunization Compliance form, which must be completed by a physician or healthcare provider. No separate documents or attachments are accepted. You may upload the completed form via the . You must also submit the TB questionnaire in your Patient Portal.

Use your my海角社区 credentials to log in to the Patient Portal.

Once your schedule is created through Orientation, fee bills are generated about one month before the semester you plan to enroll begins. You will pay your fee bill and complete registration through your Workday account. You will be notified when your fee bill is available.

海角社区 requires all first-time students under the age of 22 to complete the online Vector Solutions Primary Prevention Suite education, including two modules, prior to the first day of classes. 

You will receive an email with details to complete the courses after you attend a Bengal Bound Orientation session. You will be pre-registered to complete the courses and can use your my海角社区 ID and password to log in.

The program contains two modules: AlcoholEdu for College and Sexual Assault Prevention for Undergraduates. You must complete both modules and pass the post-test with a score of 83% or higher to meet the requirement.
